 It's time for this year’s election of the 5 seats available for the 2019-2021 class of the VTS Board of Governors (BoG). The elections start 21 August and will end 23 October (4:00 pm Eastern Time).
This year we received an unprecedented number of very high-quality candidates, which is great news for the Society. This is an indication of VTS' excellent reputation, and the interest our activities generate in the community.
The Nominations Committee selected 11 candidates for this year’s ballot. The candidates' biographies, engagement with IEEE, main accomplishments, and position statements can be found at the website below, which is also where you can cast your vote. We encourage all members to review each candidate's qualifications carefully.
Your participation in the election is essential for the Society. The BoG makes important decisions about our publications, conferences, finances and investments, educational activities, etc. The group leads and steers the Society, and runs it together with our active officers and volunteers.
