Best Papers Awards (2013—17)
The Best Papers Awards recognize the best papers published in the Transactions of Vehicular Technology during the period 2013—17 in the following four areas: Systems, Propagation, Vehicular Electronics, and Land Transportation. Each award consists of a certificate for each co-author and a cash award equally divided among the co-authors. The basis for judging includes, but is not limited to, the number of citations, excluding self-citations, in various citation databases; the number of IEEE Xplore downloads.

The basis for judging includes the following criteria: (i) service to chapter membership in terms of technical activities, (ii) service to chapter membership in terms of societal activities, (iii) chapter membership advancement, fellow nominations, and awards, (iv) chapter membership growth. The award consists of a plaque presented to the Chair of the Chapter.
