 Welcome to the eighth monthly issue of VTS Mobile World in 2018 – your IEEE Vehicular Technology Society newsletter.
In this issue, the Society President extends his personal invitation to all members to attend three big VTS events to be held concurrently in Chicago, IL, in August.
The Society’s Vice-President—Publications also briefs us on VTS publications. Standards news and VTS Chapters summary will be followed by updated information on the upcoming VTS flagship conference, VTC2018-Fall in Chicago. You will also see new VTS Resource Center content, plus much more.
This issue of VTS Mobile World include informative technical reports on motor vehicles, connected vehicles, mobile radio, and transportation systems—all major activities of the Society. Our Associate Editor-in-Chief, Richard Yu, has reviewed an interesting article published recently in IEEE Vehicular Technology Magazine on 3.5-Ghz Spectrum in 5G Dense Networks and provides a technical summary as well.
