IEEE VTS runs almost
entirely on volunteer effort. The roles that volunteers play are essential to
the day-to-day operation of Society activities, particularly in directing the
Society’s strategic priorities.
Volunteering with IEEE VTS is an opportunity to
take on leadership roles, grow your professional network, and gain recognition
from your peers. Currently, the
following volunteer positions are available to apply:
- IEEE-USA Government Relations Policy Committee Members (five committee openings)
- VTS Press Liaison
- IEEE Young Professionals Liaison
- IEEE Sensors Council Liaison
- Student Chapters Coordinator
- Student Fellowship Committee: Chairs and Members
- IEEE VTS Committee on Autonomous Vehicles: Chairs and Members
- Papers Chair for 2019 JRC, Publicity Chair for 2019 JRC
