The 3rd IEEE VTS Connected & Autonomous Vehicles Summer School @ WPI will be held 20–21 August 2018 in Boston, MA, USA. The objective of this annual summer school is to provide fundamental concepts that enable connected and autonomous vehicle technologies.
Presentations will be made by world renowned experts in both the connected vehicles and autonomous vehicles domains. Topics include:
- Foundational theory, supporting technology, and current challenges in reliable wireless inter-vehicle connectivity as well as connectivity between vehicles and roadside infrastructure
- Foundational theory, supporting technology, and the current challenges in vehicle autonomy, and
- Interdisciplinary research in wireless connectivity and vehicle autonomy, towards a holistic perspective of future connected and autonomous vehicular platforms
