 The inaugural MY 6G Summit, hosted by the IEEE Malaysia Communications Society and Vehicular Technology Society Joint Chapter, was held on 3 December 2025 at the TMRND, Cyberjaya, Malaysia.
The MY 6G Summit marked a major milestone in Malaysia’s journey toward next-generation connectivity, bringing together leaders from academia, industry, startups, and government for high-level discourse on the future of 6G. Keynote addresses and panel sessions examined AI-native networks, satellite integration, sustainability, intelligent surfaces, and quantum-safe communications, offering critical insights into global 6G developments.
Beyond technological innovation, the event underscored the importance of ecosystem building, talent development, and cross-sector collaboration. Supported by co-sponsors including Malaysian Technical Standards Forum, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, Wireless Communication Centre UTM, and TM Research & Development, the summit served as Malaysia’s first dedicated 6G-focused platform, catalyzing new partnerships, and articulating a shared vision for inclusive and sustainable digital transformation, positioning the nation at the forefront of the evolving global connectivity landscape.
