 Welcome to the July 2019 issue of VTS Mobile World – your IEEE Vehicular Technology Society newsletter.
In this issue, our Society President announces the creation of the new IEEE Open Journal of Vehicular Technology and provides a summary of its objectives and missions.
Also, the new VTS Liaison to IEEE Press calls for editors for the book series on Vehicular Technology. Our editor for the VTM Standards column provides a summary on emerging standards for the Internet of Things.
Highlights of the recently held IEEE VTC2019-Spring conference are also provided. Other regular technical columns on transportation, connected and automated vehicles, mobile radio, and news from the VTS Resource Center complement this issue.
