 Welcome to the November issue of VTS Mobile World in 2018 – your IEEE Vehicular Technology Society newsletter. This issue presents messages from our Society President and Vice President—Membership, a report on the first VTS conference in Africa, 2018 IEEE Wireless Africa, a call for proposals to host future VTCs, our regular technical columns, as well as news from the VTS Resource Center.
The feature article this month is a report on 2018 IEEE Wireless Africa, which was held in September 2018 in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Being the first IEEE-sponsored conference series solely for the African continent, it marks an important new service of the Society to this part of the world. Some wonderful pictures will take you to the scenes of this conference.
