This notice serves as
an open call for nominations of qualified candidates. Valid nominations will be
reviewed by the VTS Nominations Committee, which will put forward a slate of
candidates for approval by the BoG.

- Be committed to
attending the three yearly Board meetings
We encourage
nominations from all qualified applicants, and encourage diversity in country
of origin, gender, culture, occupation, ability and other dimensions on the
Board of Governors (BoG).
The  VTS BoG nomination form should be used for all nominations.
Send completed
nomination forms to the Nominations Committee Chair, Javier Gozálvez before 10pm EST, 10 May 2018.
The Board of Governors
of IEEE VTS is a fifteen-member body which has the responsibility for managing
all aspects of the society, including oversight of publication, membership, and
conference activities, as well as the election of the VTS President. Board of
Governors members have three-year terms, with five new members being elected
each year, on a rotating basis. The Board holds three meetings yearly: two
meetings usually concurrent and co-located with the IEEE Vehicular Technology
Conferences, and a January/February meeting held in the U.S.
