IEEE VTS publishes IEEE Vehicular Technology Magazine, a quarterly print and online product that reaches all VTS members. With its high impact factor, the VTM has now become an established international technical reference in its three main areas of interest: mobile radio, automotive electronics and transportation systems.

Each issue includes regular columns in the aforementioned areas, followed by technical articles accepted from open calls for papers or special issues. The Magazine expands the objectives of the IEEE Vehicular Technology Society and its successful Vehicular Technology Conferences by providing the Society's members with a high-quality publication including updated information on the most promising technologies in its main areas of interest.

In addition to original technical papers, the Magazine features editorial columns describing the latest news and developments in mobile radio, automotive electronics, transportation systems, standards, educational activities and Society news. The Magazine always welcomes original application, tutorial or survey-style papers describing new breakthrough ideas and technologies in mobile radio, automotive electronics and transportation systems.

This issue of VTS Mobile World includes the most recent call for papers (scroll down to view), for a special issue on “Next Generation Softwarized Wireless Networks,” set for publication late 2018. This call provides an example of the type of articles sought for the Magazine. This special issue is organized by Ramon Ferrús, Vuk Marojevic, and Leonardo Goratti. Authors can submit their contributions to this issue by 15 November 2017.
