Welcome to the September 2020 issue of VTS Mobile World – your IEEE Vehicular Technology Society newsletter. I hope you are doing well and keeping safe.
In this issue, we feature an interesting article about the hydrail train, which has been only the third paradigm shift in traction since railways were invented in the early 1800s. Also included is a post-conference review of VTC2020-Spring, VTS’ first virtual conference in its history.
In addition, you will find a call to participate in an Innovation Challenge in Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) Communications for current undergraduate and graduate college and university students, a call for papers for the IEEE Open Journal of Vehicular Technology Special Issue on UAV Communications for Safe Aerial Integration and Spectrum Coexistence, and a report from the VTS New Zealand North Chapter.
As always, I am always available to hear your feedback; just send me a note at Richard.Yu@ieee.org. Read More... |
