 The primary mission of IEEE VTS is to provide its members from around the world with opportunities for professional development and growth via a wide range of activities, events, and services.
When it comes to events, VTS has an excellent offering of high-quality, high-impact conferences it organizes every year.
Our event calendar brings together our vehicular technology community, disseminating the latest research findings, enabling networking with other international experts, and fostering new collaborations to explore new directions for research and development.
For 2019, we have an exciting line-up of VTS-sponsored conferences that will provide these opportunities to increase and grow. The following three conferences are just a sample of the many events available to all our members worldwide:
- 2019 IEEE 89th Vehicular Technology Conference (IEEE VTC2019-Spring)
Dates: 28 April – 1 May
The world-class city of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia will host this event, organized into 12 technical tracks on the latest research findings in all aspects of vehicular technology.
This VTC will also have 10 tutorial sessions on topics ranging from NOMA to 5G to vehicular networks to machine learning/artificial intelligence, a collection of workshops focusing on cutting-edge topics in vehicular technology, a world-class industry program with superb experts and practitioners, and world-renowned keynote speakers and panels providing their insights on current technologies and future trends.
- 2019 IEEE 90th Vehicular Technology Conference (IEEE VTC2019-Fall)
Dates: 22 – 25 September
At this event in beautiful Honolulu, Hawaii, USA, you will have the opportunity to attend one of over 10 parallel technical tracks on topics including vehicular communications, antennas and propagation, radio access technologies, and sensor networks. Furthermore, a series of tutorials and workshops will provide attendees with the latest knowledge on a variety of topics across vehicular technology.
Attendees will enjoy an exciting industry program with insights from world-renowned industry leaders and practitioners about the current state-of-the-art in vehicular technology and its application in products and services. Finally, VTC2019-Fall will have an excellent line-up of pre-eminent keynote speakers sharing their views about the vehicular technology world around us.
- 2019 IEEE Vehicle Power and Propulsion Conference (IEEE VPPC 2019)
Dates: 14 – 17 October
Set to take place in Hanoi, Vietnam, this conference’s theme is "Connecting Green e-Motion," focusing on the latest advances in electrified vehicle power, propulsion, and related technologies. Included in the offerings are seven excellent technical tracks focusing on topics such as hydrogen fueling, fuel cells, power electronics, and charging systems. Additionally, a great line-up of keynote speakers is planned for this exciting event!
