Four papers, but a total of 43 authors, shared the prizes
for best papers at VTC2016-Spring in Nanjing.
The winners were:
- Performance Study on Relay-Assisted Millimeter Wave Cellular
Networks, Bei Xie, Zekun Zhang, Rose Qingyang Hu from Utah State University in
the United States of America.
- Ownership Benefits/Costs Analysis of Green Cellular
Networks, Luca Chiaraviglio, Francesca Cuomo, Marco Listanti, Valentina
Salvatore from University of Rome Sapienza in Italy.
- A Novel Graph-based Topology Control Cooperative Algorithm
for Maximizing Throughput of Disaster Recovery Networks, Thuan Ngo, Hiroki
Nishiyama and Nei Kato from Tohoku University, Japan, along with Satoshi Kotabe
and Hiroshi Tohjo from NTT Corporation, Japan.
- 5G 3GPP-like Channel Models for Outdoor Urban Microcellular
and Macrocellular Environments, Katsuyuki Haneda, Jianhua Zhang, Lei Tian,
Guangyi Liu, Yi Zheng, Henrik Asplund, Jian Li, Yi Wang, David Steer, Clara Li,
Tommaso Balercia, Sunguk Lee, YoungSeok Kim, Amitava Ghosh, Timothy Thomas,
Takehiro Nakamura, Yuichi Kakishima, Tetsuro Imai, Haralabos Papadopoulas,
Theodore S. Rappaport, George R. MacCartney Jr., Mathew K. Samimi, Shu Sun,
Ozge Koymen, Sooyoung Hur, Jeongho Park, Charlie Zhang, Evangelos Mellios,
Andreas F. Molisch, Saeed S. Ghassemzadeh, and Arun Ghosh.
The 31 authors of the last paper come from a consortium of
Aalto University, BUPT, CMCC, Ericsson, Huawei, Intel, KT Corporation, Nokia,
NTT DOCOMO, NYU WIRELESS, Qualcomm, Samsung, University of Bristol, University
of Southern California and AT&T.
