Alstom, a global leader in smart and sustainable mobility, has signed a contract with CLIP Intermodal for the delivery of third-generation Traxx multisystem locomotives. The order will include five locomotives to be homologated in the European corridor, covering Poland, Germany, Austria, Czechia, Slovakia, and Hungary.
The rolling stock will be manufactured at the Alstom site in Kassel, Germany, while the locomotive car body shells will be produced at the Alstom site in Wroclaw, Poland.
