The objective of the new IEEE VTS Ad Hoc Committee on Space-Air-Ground-Water (SAGW) Integrated Communication Systems is to support and promote research among the members of the IEEE VTS community in this field

This committee is dedicated to serving IEEE VTS members interested in this emerging field.

Research topics investigated by the SAGW Integrated Communication Systems Committee include:

• Space–air–ground-water communication networks
• Space–air–ground-water green communications
• Satellite communications
• Unmanned aerial vehicle communications
• Ground communications
• Underwater sensor networks
• The cooperation and integration among the above topics

The inaugural members are as follows:
