Telstra announced on 27 February 2022 that it started customer trials of Australia’s first 5G-enabled edge compute solution for enterprises, in collaboration with Ericsson and Microsoft, providing a framework for future business innovation.
The 5G software-defined wide area network (SD-WAN)-enabled edge solutions focus on extending private connectivity (5G and fixed) and cloud services to customers and the network edge, bringing compute, storage, network, and marketplace services closer to customers.
