The VTS Singapore Chapter has 35 members. The current chapter officers are:

On 23 April 2019, the IEEE VTS Singapore Chapter and the local Comsoc chapter organized a joint workshop on 6G. The presenters included VTS Distinguish Lecturer Marco Di Renzo, Alessio Zappone (Centrale Supelec), Rui Zhang (National University of Singapore), Chau Yuen (Singapore University of Technology and Design), Yong Liang Guan and Dusit Niyato (Nanyang Technological University).
The lectures covered various potential technologies for the 6G cellular network, including reconfigurable intelligence surfaces, MIMO NOMA, and blockchain. The workshop is well attended by the local research community, both academic and industry. Download the presentation slides here.
IEEE APWCS 2019
VTS Chapters in Japan, Seoul, Singapore and Taipei host this symposium cooperatively every year. This event provides a platform for researchers from the Asia Pacific area to share their latest results, call for comments or collaborations and exchange innovative ideas on leading edge research in wireless technologies.
