 The final light rail vehicle to support Sound Transit’s T Line Hilltop Tacoma Link Extension arrived in Tacoma, WA, USA, as shown in the picture at right. The car, the last of five new vehicles, is part of a US$26.5 million contract with Brookville Equipment Corp. that doubled the existing fleet.
Each of the 66-ft-long cars is designed to carry more than 100 passengers. The 8-ft-wide car has seating for up to 26 passengers with accessibility seating for passengers using wheelchairs and mobility devices and space for bikes.
