Message from the EiC |
Happy new year! Welcome to the January 2022 issue of VTS Mobile World – your IEEE Vehicular Technology Society newsletter. We wish you and your family a happy, healthy, prosperous, and less physically distanced 2022.
In this issue, Society President Jae Hong Lee gives his inaugural message about IEEE VTS in 2022. Plus, the VTS Oral History Initiative posts a call for nominations of pioneering VTS members to be interviewed regarding their landmark achievements in VTS’ fields of interest.
Also included is a suite of recently published papers from the IEEE Open Journal of Vehicular Technology, the IEEE Vehicular Technology Magazine and the IEEE Transactions on Vehicular Technology.

Multi-connectivity in 5G and Beyond |
Sunghoon Jung and Saewoong Bahk |
In this paper, we design an online control policy for downlink transmission in a multi-connectivity environment. Incoming traffic is split across multiple base stations, and each base station determines each cell group's state. As design constraints, traffic splitting and cell group state decisions can only be performed in certain cases. Read More... |
