 WIEEE Vehicular Technology Society (VTS) is closely monitoring developments related to the rapidly-evolving COVID-19 pandemic. Please know that our thoughts are with those affected by the outbreak.
The health and safety of our members and volunteers is of the utmost priority to our Society. As a result, and due to the unprecedented situation with the pandemic and global restrictions on travels:
- All pre-approved DL / DS tours are suspended until 30 June 2020. The date may change as the situation with COVID-19 changes.
- Distinguished Lecturers and Distinguished Speakers may choose to post pre-recorded lectures online, with the agreement with the respective local chapter(s).
- For Distinguished Lecturers whose terms end in June 2020, VTS will grant a 6-month term extension.
- VTS also waives the requirement for a minimum of one Distinguished Lecture per two years for the first half of 2020, for any DL that has not yet met this condition.
