The 2017 IEEE 86th Vehicular Technology Conference took place in Toronto this past September. The event attracted 800+ researchers, engineers, academics, graduate students, and policy makers from all parts of the world.
The conference featured 5 world-class keynotes, 7 excellent tutorials, and 475 paper presentations organized in 12 tracks plus the Recent Results track. In addition, the conference housed 11 well-organized workshops on some key areas each with its own keynotes, panels, and high-quality papers.
The conference also had a very successful Industrial Track composed of 9 panels with the themes “5G wireless”, “ACE (Autonomous, Connected, and Electric) vehicles”, and “Connected World”.
Attendees had the opportunity to hear some of the world’s most distinguished industry leaders and world-renowned researchers, in addition to having plenty of networking opportunity.
The venue, Toronto Hilton, was superb, and right at the heart of downtown Toronto. The food was plentiful and delicious (lunches, welcome reception, banquet). The feedback received from the attendees was very positive and highly encouraging.
VTC2017-Fall was a truly memorable event! I'd like to thank everyone who contributed... |
