 In this issue, we introduce you to a long-term
BoG member and officer of VTS, Weihua Zhuang.
Weihua Zhuang is a Professor and
a Tier I Canada Research Chair in wireless communication networks at the
University of Waterloo, Canada. She is a Fellow of the IEEE, a Fellow of the
Canadian Academy of Engineering, and a Fellow of the Engineering Institute of
Canada.
Weihua has been actively
participating in IEEE VTS activities in various capacity, including the VP
Publications (2016), VP Mobile Radio (2014-2015), Editor-in-Chief of IEEE
Transactions on Vehicular Technology (2007-2013), Chair of VTS
Distinguished Lecturers Selection committee (2013-2016), Technical Program
Co-Chair of IEEE VTC Fall 2016, and Chair of Kitchener-Waterloo VT Chapter
(2006-2016). She has been working diligently to promote VT technical areas in
both journal publications and conference organizations, especially for
developing wireless communication and networking technologies to connect
vehicles.
